The Best Way to Clean Tiles and Grout

While a lot of people have their carpets professionally cleaned, the tiled areas of their homes and offices are often neglected. Retail products may look like they have your hard floors clean and shiny. However, the residue they leave behind often attracts dirt. This dirt can then be tracked off the tiles onto your freshly and professionally cleaned carpets, causing excess soiling in high traffic areas.

Thanks to our magnificent weather, many homes in South East Queensland have large tiled areas throughout the house. It’s quite common to have all the living areas such as lounge rooms, dining rooms, kitchen, rumpus rooms fully tiled.

All Aces Services offers a thorough, professional cleaning of your tiles, leaving them cleaner than conventional mopping alone can. Our tile cleaning process is the best way to clean tiles and grout.

Starting with a dry sweep, we remove any dry soil any large particles. We then apply a specialised cleaning solution. Man Made tiles such as Ceramic and Vitrified tiles require different cleaning solution than natural material tiles such as Terracotta, Granite, Marble, Porcelain and Limestone.

We then use a rotary agitation to remove the built up dirt on the tile surface. A specially designed brush is used to remove the soiling in the grout. Often this is the dirtiest part of your tiled floor.

Some areas require additional treatment. Just like your carpet, high traffic areas on tiles can make some areas look dirtier than other. Kitchens in particular benefit from a Dual Clean Service. Oils and grease are harder to remove from tiles than general dirt. The first cleaning process uses an alkaline cleaner; the second process uses a mild acid cleaner to strip off the oils.

We can also seal your tiles and grout. As the sealer repels oils and water, your tiles are left looking and feeling cleaner for longer. It will also improve the look of your carpet and rugs as the excess dirt from these floors won’t be transferred as easily.
